Measurement data

The data shows external quantum efficiency(EQE) measurement data of a Ge photo dioce ditector.With a constant photon of 1×1014photon/cm2, the measurement can be permed with excekkent SN in the wavelength range of 300 to 1700nm.


 

 

The data is EQE measurement data of two-junction solar cells consisting of crystaline silicon and amorphous silicon.By using color filters, it is possible to measure the EQE of each of the top and bottom cells.

 

 

Feature

 

 

Spectral response measurement by constant energy irradiation

 

  • The light intensity is adjusted with a continuos density variable ND filter,and constant energy light without wavelength characteristics is irradiated. The spectral response of the sample can be calculated from the irradiation light intensity and the measured photocurrent. The same measurement can be performed performed under white light or color bias light. Bias voltage can be set.

 

Measurement of quantum effciency by constant photon irrdiation

 

  • The light intensity is adjusted with a continuous density variable ND filter,and constant photon light is irradiated. The quantum effciency of the sample can be calculated from the irradiation light intensity and the measured photocurrent. The same measurement can be performed under white light or color bias light.   • The cell characteristics can be measured with white bias light.

 

Solar spectrum calculation(IEC 60904-3)

 

  • The short-circuit current density can be calculated from the integration of the solar spectrum and quantum effciency.
