Polycrystalline silicon solar cells with high conversion efficiency of monocrystalline silicon cells and long service life and material preparation technology of amorphous silicon thin-film batteries relative to simplify the advantages of a new generation of cells, the conversion efficiency is usually about 17-18%, slightly lower than that of single crystal silicon solar cell, there is no obvious efficiency decline, and possibly on the cheap substrate material preparation, the cost is far lower than the single crystal silicon battery, and efficiency higher than that of amorphous silicon thin-film batteries.
